Corpus Christi Navy Marathon Announced for Late March

CORPUS CHRISTI - The City of Corpus Christi along with the Convention and Visitors Bureau announced the inaugural Corpus Christi Navy Marathon will be held this March.

On March 22nd through March 24th there'll be a one mile run, a 5k run and the main event, a 26 mile marathon to wrap things up.

The longer run will be a qualifier for the Boston marathon.

All the money collected will go to the Wounded Warrior Project and homeless veterans institutions.
