Corpus Christi Child Dies in Hot Car

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are investigating the death of a 15-month-old boy that died after being left in a hot car this afternoon on Grassmere Drive.

We're told the child's father came home after 3pm to find the boy in the car and his wife in the house.

Police say the woman was caring for 7 children in all this afternoon. According to police, she told officers she forgot the child in the car.

Paramedics performed CPR as the child was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
