Corpus Christi Attorney Accused of Illegally Soliciting Clients

CORPUS CHRISTI - An attorney from Corpus Christi is facing three counts of felony barratry in Bexar County. Paul David Andrews was booked into jail on Monday based on a grand jury indictment handed down last week.

He's accused of illegally soliciting clients in connection to a 2011 lawsuit. Andrews works with the Gould Law Firm in Corpus Christi.

Andrews is already out of jail on a $15,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for July.

We spoke with Andrews' colleague Keith Gould who said he had no comment, but called the charges against Andrews "ridiculous."
