CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Animal Care service trucks are getting an upgrade. The department says eight trucks will be getting new carriages equipped with air conditioning to transport seized animals.
The upgrade will allow officers to stay out on the streets longer, rather than worrying about the animals suffering in the heat. The department says the carriages will also have more room and are more durable.
