College Student Injured in Taco Bell Crash

KINGSVILLE - A college student eating a quick lunch at a Taco Bell in Kingsville got the scare of his life today as a vehicle slammed into the wall.

Police say the 66-year-old woman driving a minivan hit the gas instead of the brake pedal. The 21-year-old student was sitting right where the van hit.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver was not cited for the crash. The restaurant sustained several thousand dollars worth of damage.
