CORPUS CHRISTI - The front that moved through the area yesterday in the late morning to midday hours has certainly put a winter-like feel to the air this Friday morning! Temperatures have tumbled 15+ degrees compared to how we started Thursday morning.
Today look for lots of sunshine with brisk winds, around 15-25mph & gusting, to start the day and then tapering off into the late afternoon hours. Highs will be on the cool and dry side with highs in the lower 70s.
Tonight, we will challenge the record low for Saturday morning which currently stands at 47 degrees set back in 1970. With clear skies and relatively light winds, temperatures will plummet into the upper 40s along the coast with some lower 40s inland. Roll out the extra blanket tonight and open the windows to give the A/C unit a break.
By Saturday afternoon we are back into the lower 80s, but still under mostly sunny skies. By the middle of next week the humidity returns and more clouds move back into the area with highs sticking near the middle 80s with no rain chances in the 7-day forecast.
Have a great weekend!
