BROWNSVILLE - Corpus Christi Coast Guard crews rescued a man in the Gulf of Mexico yesterday. A short video from inside the MH-65 Dolphin helicopter shows the crew preparing to hoist the man into the helicopter.
The crew aboard the 435-foot tank ship asked for help after a crane hit a worker when he was on deck. They called for help when the man lost feeling to the lower half of his body. The Coast Guard took him to South Padre Island International Airport where an ambulance was waiting and took him to a hospital. His condition is unknown.
