ALVIN - Investigators near Houston are still interviewing witnesses after a car slammed into a pickup truck being pushed by two young boys, killing both.

The car driver was later found fatally shot in the head.

Twelve-year-old David Barajas II and his 11-year-old brother Caleb were pushing the truck Friday night with their father, David Barajas. They were yards from their Alvin home when the car slammed into them.

Both boys died, and their father was injured.

Authorities found the car's driver, 20-year-old Jose Ines Banda, with a gunshot wound to the head. He later died at a hospital.

Brazoria County sheriff's investigator Dominick Sanders says witnesses heard gunshots three minutes after the first 911 call.

Authorities haven't named any suspects in Banda's death.

Alvin is 25 miles south of Houston.
