OHIO (WDTN) - A Dayton, Ohio store owner opened fire during a robbery Sunday night as two would-be robbers entered the 3rd Base Drive Thru.
For owner Tom Mauro, it's the third time his business has been robbed.
"I saw what was happening on camera and I said this is not happening tonight," he said.
Surveillance video shows the hooded suspects enter the lobby, one points a gun at the clerk, the other approaches Mauro's back office.
"I had the gun to my side I opened the door up...I reared up and shot him right in the chest," Mauro explained.
