City Rolls Out New Stray Animal Program

CORPUS CHRISTI - Corpus Christi Animal Control is on a mission to help control the city's stray animal population.

Starting this weekend, Animal Control officers will start visiting neighborhoods where stray cats and dogs are common.
They'll be talking to people who live there about the city's free spay and neuter service as well as free vaccinations.

A grant the city got through ASPCA will allow it to pay for about 100 spay and neuter surgeries.
