Information from the City of Corpus Christi:
CORPUS CHRISTI - Most City of Corpus Christi offices, including the libraries and Municipal Court, will be closed Thursday, November 22, 2012 and Friday, November 23, 2012 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Museum of Science and History will also be closed November 22, but will open again on Friday, November 23.
The following Thanksgiving holiday schedule will be observed for Solid Waste Services for the week of November 19-24, 2012:
Garbage Collection:
Recycling Collection:
Recycling drop off sites at H.E.B. parking lots at Leopard and Violet, and Alameda and Glazebrook, as well as at the Fellowship of Oso Creek Church, 7402 Yorktown, will be open on Friday, November 23 during regular hours.

The following schedule will apply to City Parks and Recreation facilities for Thanksgiving:
Cultural Services:
Latchkey after School Program: Will be CLOSED November 19-23. (Latchkey Vacation Station Youth Camp will be offered at Galvan Elementary Monday-Wednesday, November 19-21, 7:30am-6pm)
Marina: Will be OPEN regular hours.
Pools: Collier Pool will be CLOSED Thanksgiving Day.
Natatorium will be CLOSED Thanksgiving Day.
Recreation Centers: Will be CLOSED November 22-25.
Senior Centers: Will be CLOSED November 22-25.
