City Helps Fund Ramp Reversal Project

CORPUS CHRISTI -- City Council approved the money to go ahead with a ramp reversal project on the south side of SPID from Ayers to Staples.

Basically what that means is the off ramps will turn into on ramps and the on ramps to off ramps. It will be similar to the construction done by the La Palmera Mall.

A TXDOT spokesman says this will help prevent back-ups in the area. The city contributed close to a million dollars for the project.

Work on phase one should begin in 2016.
