A jury sentenced 21-year-old Miranda Cisneros to 11-years in prison, today. Yesterday they found her guilty on three counts of aggravated robbery and one count of child endangerment for shoplifting at Walmart and injuring employees.
Video captured the incident on camera last June and shows Cisneros plowing over the employees who chased her out of the store after she stole some items. It was a highly emotional trial throughout. After the sentencing one of the victims chose to speak to Cisneros.
"I do not feel no sympathy for you; at all," the victim said. "I will continue to live my life and enjoy it with my grandkids and I hope one day karma does pay you a visit. And I believe justice was served," she continued.
Vanessa Sanchez, Cisneros' aunt, talked about the victims' testimonies saying, "They changed their story. The first day they said, 'stop her, stop her.' Now they cleaned up their story. They said, now, that they were there to help her which was a lie."
Sanchez followed up with, "We have no sympathy for her either at all. She got what she deserved for putting herself in that situation."
