Cinnamon-Sugar Waffle Crisps

Kids love anything they can dip! This sweet snack is super-easy to make -- plus, the yogurt adds a healthy twist.

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients
1 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 whole-grain or regular frozen waffles
2 teaspoons vegetable oil or melted butter
Fruit yogurt, any flavor

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Cut each waffle into about six strips. Dip each strip in oil or butter, then dip it in the sugar mixture.
  3. Place strips on a baking sheet, leaving some room between them, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until crisp.
  4. Serve with fruit yogurt for dipping.
