CORPUS CHRISTI - Officials at the Christus Spohn hospital system are hosting a news conference at 3:30 this afternoon to discuss the flu epidemic in Nueces County.
Officials are expected to discuss precautions they are taking to stop the virus from spreading further.
Earlier today, health officials confirmed that three elderly Corpus Christi women died from flu complications within the past two weeks. The women, health officials said, had other health conditions that worsened their illnesses.
