Child Hit By Car While Riding Bicycle

CORPUS CHRISTI - A driver hit a kid riding a bike just before noon today. The accident happened in the 900 block of South Port Avenue. Witnesses say the boy was trying to cross the street when a car hit him. Emergency crews took him to the hospital to be checked out but he's expected to be OK. Police say it was just an accident and the driver wasn't charged.
