CORPUS CHRISTI - Witnesses outside a home on Bonner Drive tell us a man asked to move his truck found a child left in the hot vehicle this afternoon.
We're told paramedics rushed the child to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
Police say the baby was left there for about five hours in the heat. At this point we don't know who left the baby here but we're told the baby's uncle found him.
A witness told us the uncle opened the door to the truck and immediately started crying. "Because the baby was in there. And he didn't know that."
The truck was towed to the police impound lot as Child Protective Services and the Corpus Christi Police Department investigate.
