VENEZUELA -- CARACAS -- Thousands of Venezuelans, many wiping away tears, waited in line to see the coffin of the late President Hugo Chavez.
Once inside, supporters filed past his flag draped coffin. Chavez's body is lying in state at a military academy in Caracas after a seven hour procession through the streets.
Chavez died Tuesday at the age of 58.
Venezuela's presidential guard said chavez, who battled cancer for two years, died of a massive heart attack.
