Charities Line Up For Turkey Giveaway

CORPUS CHRISTI - Once again this Thanksgiving, local attorney Thomas J. Henry will give away thousands of free turkeys to needy families across the area.

Over the past 20 years, Henry has made it his mission to help needy families. Today, he donated turkeys to more than 100 churches and organizations in our area so they too can give to people in need.

"God bless Thomas J. Henry and all his staff. It's awesome, every year he helps everybody and I really appreciate it," said one woman who was receiving a turkey for her organization.

Tomorrow, Henry will be giving away turkeys at 3 different locations. He will be in Alice, Freer and Corpus Christi. The one here in town will begin at 10am and go until 1pm, at his law office at 521 Starr Street.

And those charity organizations we met out there today had nothing but thanks to give.
