CORPUS CHRISTI - There's new information on the woman whose 16-month-old son died after he was left in a hot vehicle back in August.
The District Attorney's office is no longer seeking to prosecute 27-year-old Concepcion Rodriguez because the grand jury did not indict her last month, due to insufficient evidence.
According to police, Rodriguez said she went out for a trip to the grocery store with seven children. When when she got home, she unpacked the vehicle and forgot her own young son, police said at the time.
The child was found several hours later when the father came home. By that time it was too late to save the boy.
