CCPD Investigate Possible Homicide On Fourth of July

CORPUS CHRISTI -- The Fourth of July Holiday had a tragic start with a possible homicide.

Police responded to a call around 12:30 this morning on the 7800 block of Leopard at the Wilson Mobile Home Park, and they found a woman dead inside.

CCPD said they are investigating the death as a homicide.

As of now, police are only questioning a 35-year-old man in the case. They have not said if the man and the woman have a relationship.

No one has been arrested in connection with the death. There is not a cause of death.

Animal control was also called out after a dog was found in the home. They will hold onto the dog until they can figure out what to do with it.
