CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi independent School District school board will once again vote on the fate of the King High school teacher accused of having sex with a student.
CCISD board members voted last month to begin the process of firing the teacher.
She then had 10 days to dispute that decision with the Texas Education Agency.
You may recall school officials first suspended her in early June, shortly after that, she tried resigning, but instead the board voted to fire her.
Today the board will vote on finishing that firing process.
The teacher is also the focus of a criminal investigation.
CCISD police handed over the results of their investigation to the Nueces County District Attorney's office last month.
The DA, however, says the case needed more investigating so it's back in the hands of CCISD police.
