CORPUS CHRISTI - The family of a teen struck by a car and left in a ditch says he's now talking. Misty Taylor says her son, Christian Carrillo, surprisingly said "Hi, mom. how are you?" on Saturday.
Taylor says that moment brought her to tears. Christian is also able to stand and walk on his own now during treatment at a rehabilitation center in Houston.
The teen was hit while walking home from Cici's Pizza on Ayers back in March. He was found about an hour later by someone else driving in the area.
Meanwhile, Eric Acevedo remains on out bond on hit and run charges. His case still hasn't been presented to the grand jury.
