CORPUS CHRISTI- It was a dry and beautiful day with a sticky high of 84 on generally light winds. Tomorrow will be hotter ahead of a major cold front arriving on Thursday.
We had a potent upper level disturbance mixing with tropical air resulting in numerous showers and thunderstorms Monday and Monday night. As this system moved east we dryed out and heated up ahead of a strong May cold front on Thursday. Only a little rain expected with frontal passage but expect a big drop in temperatures and windy conditions behind the front. Temperatures will approach record low levels on Friday and Saturday mornings.
Tonight we will have patchy fog muggy and mild with a low of 68.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny a gentle breeze humid and hot with a high near 90.
**A major cold front arrives on Thursday with only scattered thundershowers but windy and much colder temperatures
