Cadet Sworn in as Army Officer by Brother in Afghanistan

CORPUS CHRISTI - Several newly commissioned Cadets are starting a new chapter of their lives.

The ROTC Islander Battalion at Texas A&M Corpus Christi held a swearing in ceremony, and one of the new officers took his oath in a very unique way.

2nd LT Robert Burroughs was sworn in by his brother, C.J., who is also in the Army. C.J. joined the ceremony via Skype because he is currently serving in Afghanistan.
