CORPUS CHRISTI - An audit done on the Convention and Visitor's Bureau is complete, and the findings will be presented to the Board of Directors tomorrow.
The audit looked into the C.V.B.'s methods for forecasting hotel reservations.
Those calculations are a key way that the tax-payer funded bureau measures performance.
The city relies on those projections to figure out how much hotel occupancy tax revenue it will get.
The audit may have found something wrong with the way those projections were done.
The C.E.O. of the bureau, Keith Arnold, resigned yesterday, just two days before the findings of the audit will be presented to the Board of Directors tomorrow.
Arnold was placed on administrative leave when the audit began.
