CORPUS CHRISTI - A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today at the new C. Ivan Wilson Patient Support Center at Driscoll Children's Hospital.
The hospital bought the 13,700 square foot building last summer and has transformed it from a synagogue into the center.
Wilson has served as a board member for the hospital since 1983, with 10 years of service as board chairman. Officials say his efforts have been instrumental in the success of the hospital. A bust is on display at the new center named in his honor.
