Burglary Suspect Caught in Auto Yard

CORPUS CHRISTI - One man is in police custody for allegedly stealing items from cars at Great State Transmissions at 3487 S. Padre Island Drive just before midnight.

Police say Bruce Garcia, 34, was seen inside the fenced area, although he tried to conceal his identity by pulling the collar of his shirt over his head.

Once Garcia was stopped by two officers they reportedly found $390 worth of stolen items he was carrying. He's charged with burglary and criminal trespass.
