Broadcast Engineer

CORPUS CHRISTI - KRIS Communications is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to maintain and install station equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining audio/video broadcasting equipment, computer equipment, EAS receive and transmit equipment; ensuring all transmissions adhere to FCC regulations, industry standards, and guidelines.
We are seeking a skilled television engineer with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines and complete projects without supervision in a multi-tasking environment. Qualified candidate will have experience in installation of digital television master control, production facilities, and newsroom computer systems; must have audio and video systems troubleshooting skills and familiarity with computer and networking technologies with the ability to troubleshoot at the component level. Electronics/IT education and/or equivalent broadcasting experience required; SBE certification a plus. Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
