CORPUS CHRISTI - The winds really relaxed yesterday, but we were inundated with lots of haze and smoke still coming from the agricultural burnings out in Mexico and Central America. This will continue to be the case for the next several days and on into the Memorial Day weekend.
Today look for a bit more sunshine than yesterday with winds picking up to breezy levels out of the southeast around 15-20mph along with the haze in the air. High: 92
Tonight the clouds will slowly increase with temperatures one or two degrees cooler compared to the past several mornings. Low: 77
No major changes to the ongoing forecast as highs will remain in the upper 80s to lower 90s. There may be an opportunity for some showers to our west on Friday and Saturday associated with an upper level disturbance, but unfortunately that activity is expected to stay away from the city. Winds pick back up to windy levels next week.
