CANADA - You might say a Boston marathon survivor is getting back in the swing of things.
Adrianne Haslet-Davis is a professional dancer whose left leg was partially amputated.
On Wednesday, she returned to the dance floor for the first time at the "International TED Conference" in Vancouver, Canada.
She danced a rumba on a specially-made prosthetic dancing leg.
It was designed by Hugh Herr who works at the MIT media lab.
Haslet-Davis said dancing again was a reminder that she's a survivor, not a victim.
She hopes her comeback will inspire others to reach their goals and be proactive in their lives.
