Bond Denied For Murder Suspect

CORPUS CHRISTI- Bond has been denied for the man accused of punching, and killing another man in a Whataburger parking lot last year.

Earlier today, David Alvarez was in court asking to be released . The judge presiding over his case denied his request.

Alvarez was already out on bond for a felony DWI charge when police say he got into a fight, back in June, that left Aaron Juarez dead.

Alvarez was charged with murder and manslaughter.

Those charges violated the terms of his DWI bond, so he was thrown in jail, and has been there ever since. No trial date has been set.
