CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Bomb Squad has cleared from the 1600 block of Van Loan after check out two molotov cocktails found by someone searching for metal to sell as scrap.
Van Loan Avenue and Moore Street were blocked off to all traffic for the time being.
Police do not know if the two devices found this morning are linked to others found in the same location earlier this week.
As you may recall, there was a drive-by shooting at a home on Van Loan earlier this week that left at least three bullet holes in the building.
It's the same home where Quincy Lee was shot to death during a game of dice.
The suspect in the murder, Vernon Goodley, is still in jail.
Police are not saying if all of the incidents are connected.
Officers were also seen placing 'no trespassing' signs on one vacant home along the block in an attempt to keep the homeless, drug users, or general troublemakers from getting on the property.
