Bishop Rollover Sends Man And 13 Year Old Boy To Hospital

Bishop Rollover Sends Two to Hospital-KZTV

BISHOP - Two people were rushed to the hospital after a nasty accident on Highway 77 outside Bishop, around 8am this morning.

State Troopers say they don't know why the man driving the pickup truck went off the road, over the median and into oncoming traffic, but they say he struck this Suburban head on. In the Suburban was a mom taking her 13 year old son to school.

The boy in the Suburban and the man driving the pickup both suffered non-life threatening injuries. The boy was taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital via ambulance, while officials decided to Halo flight the man to Spohn Memorial. At this time, authorities say they are not sure if citations will be given, until they figure out why the man crossed the median in the first place.
