Birdies for the Blind Golf Tournament

CORPUS CHRISTI - South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind is planning its fourth annual charity golf scramble, "Birdies for the Blind." The event will be held Friday, November 1st at the Corpus Christi Country Club. Proceeds from the charity scramble will benefit programs and services offered to those who are blind or visually impaired.

Bruce Hooper, a seven time national blind golf champion, and his wife coach Judy Hooper, will also be at the tournament offering advice to players.

In addition to several prizes, there will also be an opportunity to win a car in the Hole in One contest.

The cost is $150 per person ($600 per team) and lunch will be provided.
