CORPUS CHRISTI - Blucher Park was busy today with bird watchers from as far away as Canada. About 30 people showed up to take the guided walks around the park. The Audubon Club, which sponsors the event, says it picks the park every year because of all the bird's it attracts. Organizers say birds migrate to parks in a lot of coastal cities but they say there's something special about Blucher Park. "There are a lot of migrant song birds that come through here," said bird watcher, Larry Jordan, "very colorful little birds; the Painted Buntings and Baltimore Orioles, and lots of different kinds of Wood Warblers," he said naming a few. The bird walks are every weekend this month. If you're interested, there are still a few more walks events left.
