AKRON, Ohio - A semi truck nearly causes a catastrophe when the driver lost control heading downhill towards a gas station.
The truck was coming off I-77 and flew right through the intersection before smashing into a pole and toppling over, just short of hitting the pumps.
Employees and customers at the Marathon station came running to the driver's aid and pulled both a woman - thought to be the driver - and a man from the cab.
Minutes earlier a car had been filling up at the very pump the truck slammed into.
The driver of the truck told officers the brakes stopped working.
The driver will walk away with just a citation, but most importantly, everyone walks away unhurt.
