Bergdahl Improving Through Reintegration Process

SAN ANTONIO - U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl is almost done with his reintegration process, according to a military source.

The official says the soldier has gone to stores and restaurants here in Texas, to readjust to normal life.

Bergdahl was released by militants in Afghanistan in May, after being held captive for five years.

He's been living on a base in San Antonio since mid-June, carefully monitored by a reintegration team.

Bergdahl is expected to be reassigned to a new unit shortly, which would then decide on leave.
