CORPUS CHRISTI - Members of the Moose Lodge on Rodd Field Road through a BBQ benefit for Charles Meginnis, a marine veteran who fought in Korea during the 1950's. Being an amputee means Charles has trouble getting around, especially after his van was damaged. Today, his fellow Lodge members sold BBQ plates to raise money for the repairs and he was grateful to them for the help.

"I was real surprised," Meginnis said, "and real happy that they'd give me the chance to participate in receiving instead of the giving!"
