Benefit For Accident Victim at House of Rock

CORPUS CHRISTI -- People came out to the House of Rock for food and live music, but most importantly to help a friend.

Family members organized a benefit for Len Cotham this afternoon and into the evening, downtown, at the House of Rock.

A perfect place for the benefit since len has been part of the music scene in South Texas for many years.

He was in a bad car accident last month and he just got out of ICU this week.

To help out with medical bills, people made donations, bought hamburger meals and tickets for a raffle.

Len's sister says her brother will appreciate all the help.

Susan Strong said, "It's just been a long hard road. The guy that hit him had no insurance so we're having a big benefit today all his friends and family, we've got food and ten bands playing here at the House of Rock."
