Beeville Police Arrest 2 Teens in School Vandalism Case

Beeville Teens Accused of School Burglary

BEEVILLE - Beeville Police have arrested two teenagers they believe vandalized a school.

Officers arrested Eric Hernandez, 17, and Jonathan Cadena, 19.

Police say Hernandez, Cadena and two others broke into Moreno Middle School on December Eleventh, and vandalized four offices and 13 classrooms. They also stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics.

Investigators tell us Hernandez and Cadena have been charged with burglary of a building and criminal mischief. Because the criminal mischief charge is a third degree felony, they can face up to ten years in prison if they're convicted.
