CALIFORNIA (KCRA) Management at a Lodi, California movie theater was was made aware of a bedbug infestation several weeks before a complaint prompted a sudden shutdown Sunday.
Jeff Hood, a Loci city spokesperson, said the city's code enforcement staff received one complaint three weeks ago about the theater and was assured that the problem was treated and resolved.
Stephanie Booth said she noticed the problem three weeks ago after she went to the movies with her daughter.
"Later that night, I woke up and I broke out in a rash and also my daughter had it, too," she said. "They were on my shoulders and my legs and my back. And my daughter got it on her arm, too."
