CORPUS CHRISTI - Area beaches are expected to be packed for the 4th of July holiday. Officials at the Padre Island National Seashore say Independence Day brings in the largest number of visitors to the park every year.
As of today, beach conditions are great and campsites are already filling up.
Spring break size crowds are expected on Corpus Christi beaches. Extra trash bins are in place for the crowds, so please use them. Beach visitors are not allowed to bring wooden pallets for bonfires. Glass containers are also not allowed.
Plan ahead for traffic delays when using the Port Aransas Ferry and the JFK Causeway.
