CORPUS CHRISTI - A one year old baby has been rushed to Spohn South after she was found floating in her family's pool this morning.
Police say around 10:30am, they received a call about a possible drowning at a home on the 6000 block of Lost Creek, right off Staples and Holly.
The mother told police she went to the restroom and when she retured the baby was gone. She was missing for about 5 to 10 minutes until her mother found her in the pool.
Investigators say there wasn't any fencing around the pool and they are questioning the mother. So far, no charges have been filed. Meanwhile, the baby is in critical condition. Once her condition stabilizes, she will be transferred to Driscoll Children's Hospital.
We have a news crew at the scene and will have a live report at 6 News at Noon.
