Baby Beauty Pageant At The Sunrise Mall

CORPUS CHRISTI -- It looks like we might just have a future Miss Texas Beauty Queen here in the Coastal Bend.

Tonight parents and their children went to the Sunrise Mall for the Sunburst Beautiful Baby Contest.

Boys and girls ages infant to three years old could strut the runway.

Girls ages 4 to 27 years old also got to participate in the pageant.

Winners will go on to the state finals -- this spring -- in Houston.

One mother says her five year old daughter has been doing this for years...and loves it!

So, she decided to sign up her four month old infant too.

Jennifer Vela said, "She loves it! She likes dressing up and she loves the dresses."
