Attorney Accused of Trying To Have Witness Killed

CORPUS CHRISTI - Another local attorney is in more legal trouble. Paul Andrews, who practices law in Corpus Christi and San Antonio is already facing a charge of felony barratry, or illegally soliciting clients.

Now, the District Attorney for Bexar County is accusing him in a conspiracy to have a witness in the case killed. Texas Rangers were unable to locate Andrews at his office in San Antonio, but did find him in Corpus Christi.

He had an appearance before a judge this morning to hear the charges against him. The solicitation of capital murder charge carries a maximum punishment of 99 years in prison.
