CORPUS CHRISTI - The much loved art tram used in the art walk tours has given its last ride.
Because of mechanical problems the tram has been retired. Members with the Downtown Management District say they are working to try and get a new one but are running into money issues.
They say a brand new one could cost them about 200 thousand dollars. So now the hunt for funds has begun.
"It's a bummer. You know we kind of saw it coming. It was limping along there for a while. So we're just you know getting organized and trying to figure out how we can come up with a remedy," said Casey Lain the owner of House of Rock and Downtown Management District Board Member.
