Arrest Warrant Issued in Taft Murder

CORPUS CHRISTI - An arrest warrant is out for 29-year-old Eddie Zapata Jr. for Saturday night's stabbing death of 25-year-old Ezequil Flores of Taft. The San Patricio Sheriff's Office says Zapata and Flores got into a fight late Saturday at a home on Elm Street that resulted in Flores being stabbed in the chest with a large kitchen knife.

Zapata is a Hispanic male, 5' 6" tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Officials say he lives in Taft and Sinton, but is known to have family in Corpus Christi and Seguin.
