CORPUS CHRISTI - One local store owner is pretty shaken up today after two men robbed his store last night.
It happened at the Times Market on Kostoryz between Gollihar and Mcardle.
Sung Kang, the owner of the store, caught the robbery on tape, "I think they are customers. But they got their gun right here. And point at me and he said, money, money."
The two men came into the store just after 10 last night. The robbers demanded money and cigarette cartons. They were then able to get away on foot.
Kang says, "they put the gun so I put my hands up. They said to give me money, money money."
He tells us he then opened the register, and the robbers got away with around $300 in cash, and 20 cigarette cartons.
He described the men as two hispanic males between the ages of 18 to 24. They were wearing two red hoodies and baseball caps to hide their faces.
Kang said this was the first time he was ever robbed and when asked what it was like, he says, "Very scary."
Shaken up or not, it was back to work for Kang today. But he plans on increasing security by adding a glass cover around the counter.
Kang hopes this robbery will be his firs and last.
