ARANSAS PASS - The Aransas Pass police department is still searching for 2 men and one woman, who are wanted in connection with a small gun fight at a home on the corner of Lamont and Deberry.

Police Chief, Eric Blanchard tells 6 News that around 1pm, officers responded to a shooting. when they arrived, they found a vehicle that had been "shot up" and man who they, then, considered a victim.

Police say, 2 men and a woman were at the home and fled on foot after the shots were fired.

A DPS chopper with scanning equipment was called out to comb the heavy brush behind Lamont Street. No word as to whether or not the 3 suspects are armed.

Police later arrested the man in the damaged vehicle, who they originally thought to be the "victim." We're told he was giving false statements and throwing officers off the trail with falsified statements.

And at this time, no injuries fromthe shooting have been reported. The manhunt continues.
